Recently, my friend Kerlesport-yogary Gribosky,  the International Brand Manager for LeSportsac sent me a really awesome patent leather yoga bag that I wanted to share with all of you.  For those unfamiliar, LeSportsac defines itself as  “a leading manufacturer of functional and chic handbags.” The company is very successful in many parts of the world, but this is the first time I’ve had the fortune to use one of its products.

What I really enjoy about the yoga bag are some of its unique qualities.  It’s waterproof, it’s large enough to fit any size yoga mat and it has special pockets for keys, IDs and other common accessories.   The adjustable shoulder strap is also a great feature.  For myself, I enjoy the practical features this bag has to offer.  But for those looking to carry around their yoga mats in style – this is also the perfect bag.

Make sure to check out the company’s web site for information on all of their great products!

Jack Rabbit will also be enlisting members for its New Years Resolution program, a fitness program its staff will help track and target.  Sarah will be on-site from 630pm-8pm at the Union Square location, but the event is taking place at both the UES and Park Slope stores as well.

As everyone begins their new year’s fitness routines, I wanted to share information on some very cool new apparel  that I’ve started to use.  The company is called Zensah – and they have created a technology used for developing sports apparel made without seams.

According to their Web site, “Zensah’s revolutionary seamless design consists of an ultra-breathable, moisture wicking fabric that draws sweat away from the body, allowing the garment and athlete to stay cool, dry and light. Zensah®, the pioneer of graduated compression apparel, has created revolutionary seamless sportswear designed as a true second-skin fit, giving the athlete greater performance, comfort and mobility.  Our technology has allowed us to create groundbreaking products and enhance our athletes’ performances not only in training but more importantly in competition.”

I’ve recently started using their calf sleeves since my calves are always tight from standing at work all day.  The product has been very helpful for my calves and I’m thinking about trying out some of their other products in the near future.

Check out their Web site for all of the information on all of their very cool apparel.
