Workout Class

Physical Equilibrium's founder and head personal trainer Sara Dimmick created The Central Park Outdoor Workout. Each year from April - October, New York City residents and city visitors can experience a unique personal training and group fitness workout that utilizes only nature, the park's numerous paths, its vast greenways and bands as equipment. The class has become so popular that Fox 5's Good Day New York profiled it a few years ago.

'Natural' Fitness Equipment

You'll enjoy working out with "equipment" that ranges from benches, steps and hills to open grass, running trails and sand patches. The only traditional fitness equipment used is bands.

Tuesdays @ 7:00pm

Classes meet 10 minutes before the scheduled start time at the park entrance on the NW corner of 60th Street and 5th Ave.

The Central Park Total Body Workout, created by Sara Dimmick, Physical Equilibrium's founder and head personal trainer, is based on the company's most popular class held in New York's Central Park during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. It is an intermediate level, total body strength and conditioning workout that runs 35 minutes.
