Michael Okech is a personal trainer with Physical Equilibrium. One of the things he enjoys most about working with his clients is the opportunity to educate, empower and positively impact their lives.
Michael’s committed and positive approach enables his clients to test their physical and mental limits. His strength lies in his ability to motivate each client to find enjoyment in exercise through programs that are fun, challenging, and lead to great results. He realizes that this doesn't come easily to everyone so he tailors his programs so that there is something that appeals to each client.
After finishing his university degree, his passion for sports and fitness inspired him to become a personal trainer, concentrating on weight management, body sculpting, cardiovascular conditioning, endurance training and sport specific training and movement integrity. Michael is a firm believer in continuing education and is working on becoming a Level III Certified in Fascial Stretch Therapist.
He has been a competitive rugby player for over a decade, playing in Kenya, the US, the United Kingdom, France, and Vancouver, Canada.
When not working with his clients to achieve their fitness, movement and flexibility goals, Michael plays rugby explores different forms of movement such as dance and martial arts or is focusing on his quest to reach “the end of the internet.”
